HPLFF 2010 announcements begin...


The 2010 H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival (the 15th and final one in Portland, Oregon) has started taking shape, as several features, guests and shorts have been announced...


Jean-Paul Oullette's The Unnameable and The Unnameable II: The Statement of Randolph Carter have joined the previously announced feature The Burrowers (by J. T. Petty). The Unnameable films are known for Mark Kinsey Stephenson's wonderful performance as Randolph Carter and R. Christopher Biggs amazing creature effects...


In the short film category, several animated films and a couple of live action adaptations have been added including Dagon (by Michael Chase), Rats in the Wall (by Alastair Macleod), The Statement of Randolph Carter (by Douglas Simon) Roe (by Christopher James Jordan), The Necronomicon (by Joseph Nanni) and The Picture in the House (by Miles Finlayson). Paul Carrick's Eldritch Light and Shadow has will also screen...


Announced guests include author's CaitlĂ­n R. Kiernan, Michael Shea, Richard A. Lupoff, William F. Nolan, editor Ellen Datlow and filmmakers Aaron Vanek, Andrew Leman and Sean Branney (check the HPLFF site for more)...


The festival takes place October 1-3, 2010 at the Hollywood Theatre...
