The Eldritch Cycle: Lovecraft Theater...


Philip Reyth and Brandon Chessher, the creative masterminds behind Sierras Edge Pictures, strive to create films like they were created in the early years, focusing on strong stories, interesting characters and using old camera techniques. A look at Sierras Edge Pictures website
shows that they have a total of four Lovecraft films in development, including two scheduled for release in 2009...

The Old Man: A mysterious old sailor who pays with gold coins is the object of three robbers profession. Their end is mysterious and shocking. Due out in the summer of 2009...

The Music of Erich Zann: A story of creeping atmosphere and surreal inspirations to a mute violinist, haunted by music from beyond, with an imaginative twist at the climactic ending. Due out in the fall of 2009...

The Colour from Out of Space and From Beyond are also in early stages of development...

Besides Lovecraft, Sierras Edge Pictures have projects based on the works of Algernon Blackwood (The Wendigo and The Willows), M. R. James (Rats), William Hope Hodgson (The Derelict and The House on the Borderlands), August Derleth (Pacific 421) and Ramsey Campbell (among others). The collective short films will go by the title: The Eldritch Cycle: Lovecraft Theater...
